TOUCHDOWN TENT

Touchdown Tent McDuffy's Touchdown Tent brought thousands of fans together to enjoy great music and some memorable events during two weekends in January 2007. First, the 1997 Fiesta Bowl Championship game between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Florida Gators. Then SUPER BOWL XXX between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Touchdown Tent was created by Randy Breen and Scott Adams in conjunction with the McDuffys ownership group, and took place in tented areas on the east and north parking areas of McDuffys Tempe. Not only was the Touchdown Tent one of the most successful events in the Downtown Tempe area, but McDuffys Sportsbar was filled with fans throughout the Touchdown Tents events as well.

The Touchdown Tent was sponsored by Budweiser, Pepsi, Cuervo Especial Tequila, Courtesy Chevrolet, KUPD98, KGME Radio, and supported by various media from visiting team fan bases. Not only did many local and national music artists perform, but also the famous characters "The Ladies Night Bud Girls" (in drag), and "I Love You, Man", and the World Famous Clydesdales from the Budweiser Commercials were also on hand. Many NFL athletes visited for Sony Play Station competition, and an autograph signing.
